Between Science Fiction, Delight and Zen

The exhibition will present a Slovak sculptor involved in sculpture, painting, drawing, film, and computer graphics.
It shows unexpected twists in the life and work of the artist whose oeuvre expresses a burning desire for harmony and integration with the absolute, despite social or personal obstacles and a trace of irony and scepticism. His major themes are Views through Matter, 550 BC, Crashed Airplanes, Prayer, Labyrinth, Pentagram, Corner Man, Mimicry, Return of Odysseus, Miss Moon and Mr. Yang and others. The exhibition shows a highly aesthetic work created in the tradition of great classics, such as Raphael, Brancusi or Galanda. Set against the backdrop of Slovak Conceptual Art, it is a fusion of irony, virtue and clever naivety.
