Fine Arts Workshops

Painting workshops are dedicated mainly to university students. Their aim is to provide them with broader perspective in the field of visual art, both during the process of the creation and in the relationship to oneself and surrounding world and society.
Painting workshops are thus oriented towards mediating the perception of art as a specific kind of nonverbal communication, on two basic levels:
1. relationship of the artist and world, leading to creation of works
2. artist - work - the one who perceives, whereas the last one communicates via the artists work with himself and with the world and creates new possibilities to experience life that overcome the daily routine.

Painting workshops are based on crossing the visual and drama part in development of human creativity, whereas the emphasis is on the process, not the artifact itself. Important to this is shaping and developing of man's personality, stressing his/her mental experience of art and artworks, his/her own individual experience etc. In case of these creative events, the method of "distance" and "entry" into the art works is used, together with "stopping before the painting" and "taking a closer look at the painting", which enable the person to perceive and experience exhibited artifacts more carefully, on the background of dialogue of our own experiences and opinions with the statement or message of the artifact.
