The exhibition of historical portraiture from the 17th—19th centuries

Collection of Antique Furniture, Gold Pieces and Interior Decorations Collection of Antique Furniture, Gold Pieces and Interior Decorations evokes the spirit of an aristocratic residence. To ensure a homogeneous style, the exhibition also includes, besides the original mobiliary, other objects and artefacts from the collections of the Slovak National Gallery. The richly engraved inlaid door from the 16th century, produced in the workshop of the Lang family in Kežmarok, belongs to the most precious items of the original interior. The porcelain dinner and glass sets come from Bohemia, Austria, Germany and France, the most precious being a Meissen set decorated with the paintings of J. G. Horoldt from the 18th century. up | |
