Accompanying Programs

In addition to the permanent exposition, smaller exhibitions and cultural events are organized for the general public at the Gallery of Ľudovít Fulla. The SNG– GĽF serves as a multifunctional space for various cultural and social activities.
Activities include lectures, discussions, expert tours, creative workshops and films dedicated to the life and work of Ľudovít Fulla.

The aim of the creative workshops is to introduce visitors to Fulla’s work (portraits, illustrations from fairy tales, compositions of figures, folk motifs, toys, the interior and exterior of the Gallery, etc.) through the help of paintings, drawings, combined techniques and collages. Topics are also taken from the accompanying exhibitions, which are held here throughout the entire year. The creative workshops take place once a week upon agreement with lecturing pedagogues.

The Gallery cooperates with schools from the region, particularly the School of Applied Fine Arts and the Elementary School of Arts. GĽF is also annually used by students during their practical leaving examinations and for exhibitions, concerts and recitals of students of elementary schools of art.
Concerts and seasonal cultural events for all age categories are also held here.
